Re: Higher your monitor's resolution, tinier Basillisk's scr
I thank everybody for their input. However, as a computer technician, I do stand behind everything I've said. Dear Mr. Regensburg. You've been more than kind. And I sincerely hope that a developer does come along to implement such a much needed magnification feature like in Mini vMac: "I am not...

Re: Higher your monitor's resolution, tinier Basillisk's scr
Thank you Mr. Regensburg. I just wanted to know if there are any plans to add a magnification feature like the one Mini vMac has to Basillisk and SheepShaver? It's a much needed feature for both emulators. I'm so sorry and please correct me if I'm wrong, but the resolution settings in both Basillisk...

Higher your monitor's resolution, tinier Basillisk's screen.
I'm so sorry, but I wanted to ask this question. It's getting harder and harder to see Basillisk's screen depending on your monitor's resolution. As you know the same is true of SheepShaver as well. The higher your monitor's resolution, the tinier Basillisk's screen. This is regardless of what size ...

Re: Troubles with SheepShaver and Mac OSs other than 9.0.x
The Old World Power Macintosh ROM ("Old World 4mb ROM" on http://www.redundantrobot.com/sheepshaver-tutorial/) worked like a charm. I just booted up my Mac OS 7.6.1 cd on it with a perfect install. Again, thank you very much for all of your nice help.

Re: Troubles with SheepShaver and Mac OSs other than 9.0.x
Thank you again so much Mr. Regensburg. I should have thought about that. I tried the "Mac OS ROM" which, if I remember correctly, was from a Mac OS 9.x.x cd and I also tried the new world rom from Redundant Robot. It makes perfect sense. Let me try the old world rom and I'll report right ...

Troubles with SheepShaver and Mac OSs other than 9.0.x
I have another question if nobody minds. I was trying to set up SheepShaver with a variety of retail Mac OS versions and I can't get anything to install but Mac OS 9.0 and 9.0.4. I've tried all the retail versions of Mac OS 7.6, 7.6.1 and 8.5 on my Mac OS X 10.10.5 MacBook, but I keep getting the sa...

Can Basilisk II also use .zip and .dmg images?
As many of us know, it can be hard using only .dsk or .img files for our emulators on an Intel Mac because many of the newer OS X versions can neither create them nor move files to them.
I was wondering if Basilisk II could also use .zip and .dmg images? I thank you.

Does Basilisk have a windowed magnify mode like Mini vMac?
I have a white 2010 MacBook with a 1280 x 800 display resolution and I would love to be able to run Basilisk II in a windowed Magnify mode like in Mini vMac. Right now, if you run Basilisk II or SheepShaver in Windowed mode, you're stuck with running the emulator at the same resolution that your Mac...
