Sorry, but I'm a Windows programmer, and I don't own a Mac.
If I somehow I get to run OS X on a PC, or do get a Mac (or even program Mac code from Linux), I'll let you know I'm making a Mac program
And it's true, I should have specified what platform I'm targeting.

Re: [Offer] New 'General' GUI (Beta)
Thanks for the info, Cat_7 and adespoton. I want to apologize with i886 for the Smilie in my post (I didn't understood what it meant, I thought it was wearing glasses and reading or so, sorry) I want to thank you so far for helping me with feedback and info with this weird little project I had. Re: Proposition: GUI for QEMU
Thank you for your support. Even thought I'd love to code on Swift, I can't because I don't own a Mac, so anything I can't help with anything tied with OS X/macOS And yes, I'm talking about an easy app which lets novice users to run configure QEMU with visual elements, rather than writing a config f...

Re: [Offer] New 'General' GUI (Beta)
Sorry for my ignorance, I was being too lazy to check the source code to see what those lines do exactly. So: etherpermanentaddress ^This one makes permanent the Network Address (MAC) of the emulated card. Valid values are Boolean("true"/"false") ethermulticastmode ^This one sets...

Re: [Offer] New 'General' GUI (Beta)
Hello, here I am again. This time I want to ask about the Basilisk II config file. I am creating GUI elements for every config line (unlike the included GUI which only contains most used options, but not all). I've been basing the "config-line detector" in the GitHub document available her...

Best presets for Mac emulation?
Hi all, since I'm still developing bit by bit VirtualMac, I need some presets for the different versions of MacOS. I've seen in a post that adespoton knows many, so your help would be very appreciated. I need presets for Basilisk, SheepShaver, QEMU and PearPC, for the following versions of Mac OS: B...

Re: PearPC Config File Generator
Well, after installing again VS2005 and rechecking the code, I solved that by checking that the user would have selected the force boot method, and if he/she did, it will include the lines. Otherwise it won't include those lines. Haven't really tested since I don't have any images to run on PearPC, ...

ClockWise: Of course, and most probably I will update the app in GitHub itself so the link will likely remain the same for GitHub, as for Medafire I think won't upload my releases there anymore so that there isn't such a mess between versions

Re: [Offer] New 'General' GUI (Beta)
I've done things here and there. The 0.5.2 source code provided up is now superseeded to 0.4.3 as there are no real advances into it. I'm releasing now 0.5.1 which now lets to create and launch a SheepShaver VM. To do this SheepShaver must be in the same folder as the program (In a next release you ...

Re: Mini vMac Auto Loading Disks & Starting In Fullscreen
"Kinda". Basically you can, but you must recompile the application in order to achieve starting automatically in fullscreen. It's in fact quite easy: To start with a default disk: Just open the disk with Mini vMac/type in command line the path to MvM followed by the path to the disk. E.g. ...

Re: [Offer] New 'General' GUI (Beta)
Thanks for checking this out. Actually I haven't updated the source code in a while. The code that is in my computer actually creates and runs SheepShaver, but it cannot edit the prefs file, I'm working on it now. In a short time I'll post the new program when it will be able to read and write Sheep...

Re: GSOC qemu Boot Mac OS >= 8.5 on PowerPC system
Maybe not so related, but wouldn't be better if QEMU would emulate a "generic card" and the QEMU part that deals with the video would be passed directly to the host video card? Just like with the ATI extensions, but a bit more generic, so that every one with a potent graphic card can get a...

Re: Can't Run PearPC
I've downloaded the OS X 10.2 install disk, used the exact same config and I had the same issue as you when clicked inside the window. So I can say that this is an issue of PearPC. If you really want to run OS X in PaerPC, you should try an OS X 10.3-10.4 install disk or peraphs you could try Qemu, ...

PearPC tends to have problems with OS X 10.2, you should try with a 10.3 disc and see if it works

May I ask which version are you using? The first one posted (1.00) doesn't work with PearPC, use the app from this post: viewtopic.php?p=59419#p59419

It's weird, as I can use perfectly the 2018-03-21 build without the mouse problem. By thw window style I think you are using Windows 10, while I'm using Windows 7, so that might be part of the problem

Yes, but they were referring to the most recent build: 20-06-2018 http://www.open.ou.nl/hsp/downloads3/Windows/Qemu-3.0Pre-Win64-20062018.zip Build from official source as of 20-06-2018. PMU support has landed, and the required rom to support the PMU is now the default. This means this build can run...

e.g. 2018-03-21. By what I saw you are using Windows, you could try Qemu 2018-03-21 64 bit: https://qemu.weilnetz.de/w64/2018/qemu- ... 180321.exeMinistar48 wrote:What build?

If you don't explicitely need PMU, you can try an early build, where the mouse is normal
