Re: Sound with QEMU Win Xp PRO 64 VM with Hyper-V platform APIs in Windows 10

Hello! I'm in Windows 10 where I'm emulating Windows XP pro 64. I want to ask if it's possible to take advantage of audio with Hyper-V platform using QEMU. I know that with VMWare this is possible, but I really like QEMU and would like to choose it. Obviously I can run the Win XP Pro 64 virtual mac...

Re: Help me boot onto a disk using OpenBios

Which GUI might that be? There currently is no GUI for Windows that matches Qemu options. To boot a cd from the openbios prompt, you need something like: boot cd:,\\:tbxi or (depending on which partition contains the tbxi) cd:9,\\:tbxi To boot from hd, you might need hd:,\\:tbxi Once you have to st...

I guess the forum has been operating for about 20 years now, with the oldest accounts dating from that period.

The website itself will celebrate it's 24th birthday in May.
Wow, the site is already an adult!

Help me boot onto a disk using OpenBios

The GUI for qemu that I'm using won't let me automatically boot to a disk, so how do I boot to the MacOS installer through the OpenBIOS command prompt? :?:

Hi everybody, I just want to thank for the excellent work done with the Windows Qemu-Screamer (with Sound). I could install everything, I have sound. Internet works also. You have: "-M mac99,via=pmu-adb" , not just "-M mac99"
Please try -M mac99.

That's weird, the mouse finally works and registers clicks, but I swear I tested just -M mac99 before and it didn't work.

There is a reason I chose PearPC first....

I just started moving from PearPC to QEMU, but when I boot into the MacOS X 10.1 Installer, it doesn't take any input, nothing is noticeably wrong, but the installer refuses all input, even the keyboard! I know I appear as angry, but it's too much of a problem to use PearPC, so I just want this to w...

What's your host system? Looks like Windows? the newest version of windows 10, but QEMU commands mostly transfer over, so it shouldn't matter. Well, every desktop OS other than Windows allows you to "renice" a process. On Windows, Control-alt-delete, task manager, right-click the process,...
