I have also been testing on Windows 7 RTM, but the 32bit flavor. I am seeing the same issue. I was having the disk corruption issue, but resolved that by setting my disk image file to be read only in Windows. Through testing I can see that it does not matter if you modify the config, change paramete...

The boot with CD fix works for me also, but it keeps me from running games that require multiple CD swaps.

Downgraded to quicktime 2.5 and that works fine.

I had the same CD issue with the old Basilisk II win32 ver. The solution was to enable the CD Rom as a SCSI device. No such option on Sheep Shaver though....

The random crashes have gone away on my Pentium-M laptop, and the speed is pretty good (although video is a bit laggy, even when skip set to 0). Any one else having problems when using Quicktime. If I try to play the sample clip, or even use the quicktime picture application, sheepshaver closes with...

Is Sheep Shaver unstable for you?

SheepShaver crashes a lot on my laptop (Winxp SP1, Pentium M). Sometimes random, some things I can repeat. Sometimes I get an generic alert generated, sometimes it just crashes out to the windows desktop. One crash that I can replicate very reliably is from playing sounds quickly. If I go the the Mo...

Are you sure that you have the "keycodes true" line in your SheepShaver_prefs file? Make sure that you didn't add a new keycodes true line, but leave the original "keycodes false". On the link I posted, did you click on download and then save that file as BasiliskII_keycodes(you ...

After you download the keycode file from cvs, rename it to BasiliskII_keycodes, drop this in the same folder as your prefs and .exe, add keycodes true, and then launch, you should now have working 3 and 5 keys, this will also allow the option key to work although this still does not work right as wi...

To get 3 & 5 to work you need to set the following in your prefs:

keycodes true

Then you will need to download the appropriate keycode file from the cvs. Here is a link to the web cvs containing the file:

Yeah, I still am not sure how to set the boot seq. What I did was remove the system files from the hardisk file so that it is no longer a bootable drive. Then when sheepshaver can't not boot off the hardisk it will default to the cdrom.

Oh and you did add the cdrom d:\ from my prefs above right?

As long as you did not compile with GTK, and you copy the cygwin1.dll to the same directory as the .exe you can launch it through windows like a normal application.

I did not need to modify any code to get this to compile on my box??? I have built it with GTK and without, both work fine. Got it compiled

You just need to install the esound, xwindows, and GCC compiler. It is working right now, but very slow. I think this is due to the fact that I can't figure out how to go fullscreen.[/img]
