i dont think you can install to the disk you are booting from, make a copy of your startup disk and install onto it.

I went ahead and made a bootable panther cd using my powerbook so i could avoid the installation time. Is there anyway to make the file created by BootCD into a hardfile so i can write on it ?

how did you extract the cdrom image, mine just crashes when it loads the file?

Hallo, I have a problem concerning macos8.6 booting on sheepshaver, because everytime i boot it, i get a "bomb" error that claims that "international utilities" are not present, and i reboot, and the same happens again. It seems to get triggered by something because 8.6 boots fin...

hmm, i installed the patch and the video is now updated, however, whenever i move my mouse into the window or press a keyboard button, the thing crashes. Anybody else have this problem?
