I didnt know that you were still around. I was going to get back into Sheepshaver and thought about all the good info on this forum.
I have spent the last few years rebuilding a 1976 Mini and not spending as much time in the Mac Emulation world.

Ok, I have search the web and all I have found is that Microsoft in their wisdom have removed the appletalk protocol from windows xp. My question is can you install the protocol from windows 2k and if so how?

you need to create an ISO of mac os 8.5 and copy it into your colinux hard drive then use the command ./sheepshaver --cdrom /path/to/iso this will allow sheepshaver to boot to the cdrom image. sheepshaver will not use the raw cdrom for booting.
