Networking always worth a surprise
Hi everybody, since I had to reinstall Mac OS X (Panther), I am stuck setting up my network in order to interact with Windows. So, this time, my problem is the following: Once I started up PearPC (latest prasys Smokin' build) two days ago, everything went fine. Mac OS X had found all the necessary s...

I'm starting to get mad! I have been trying for two days now, to reinstall OS X - without success. It doesn't even matter which hard disk image I choose. Either the install just stops with some error or I can't finish the damn installation because I'm asked to put in the second CD. If I do so (i.e. ...

PearPC doesn't work correctly after 10.3.8 update
Hi everybody, as I described in this topic , I encounter problems with PearPC since I have upgraded it OS X to 10.3.8. After loading everything on startup, the screen stays blue, the cursor regularly disappears while the "turning wheel" appears for some instants and that's it. Having a loo...

Oh yes, it would be fine if anyone could post some kind of manual to run SheepShaver on OS X. Does it actually run upon PearPC? I tried, but never got it to work. What are the requirements? What about X11? How to create a hard disk file, which format does it require etc. I ran over some related topi...

Because I'm so curious about a new release of Kwai, I regularly have a look in this forum to see if the topic's updated. So, my question is: when can we expect the new version to be released? I think that something like CherryOS (although I'm pretty sure it's a fraud) urges PearPC to get a good GUI ...

Those screenshots look great - I look forward to the new version. BTW the name is better now - sounds much cooler (smoother)! I think it would be great to implement Kwai into PearPC as a basic feature - this would a leap forward in terms of usability, although PearPC has become MUCH easier in use, s...

I just read an article on the german IT news site computerbase.de that there are rumors about a partnership between Transitive and Microsoft regarding the downward-compatability of the upcoming XBOX2 which will be PPC powered, which is well-known speculation or has it be confirmed yet? Anyway, this ...

I like your program. The only thing you should think about is the name. In my opinion KwaiStub sounds not very cool. Maybe you should make a poll about a name or something. Maybe I can suggest one or so. Anyway, when can we await another release, because the screenshot from 0.2 looks great - wait, t...

Mac OS X 10.3.5 Update available
Hi everybody,
as you can guess from the title you can now download several updaters for Mac OS X 10.3.5.
You can get these updates http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/index.html, just choose whatever version you need.
Have fun installing,
Cyman

Maybe one could create a bootable DVD-RAM, since it is used like a harddisk and data is written/read on-the-fly. The only problem is that there are few DVD burners which support DVD-RAM, like the LG drives. I think I'll get myself one of these... (until then I will have to stick with my Sony DVD bur...

This is, where I got a detailed answer, but I can't try if this works, since I don't run Linux as native OS and apparently this task requires to be done under Linux.

Since coLinux 0.6 didn't run but crash my PC all the time, I installed the latest coLinux version (0.61) to give it another try. Now, when clicking the shortcut, the prompt window appears and disappears immediately and nothing happens. What's wrong? I just want to get coLinux to run - why doesn't it...
