i still would like to boot into mac os on my PC.... even with 68k basilisk. ...but i would prefer the most updated 68k version of Mac OS. i imagine in its final state pear pc will do everything basilisk does with ease to the user... configuration won't be done by editing a text file... but most of a...

i believe it's a great thing to persue. i like to think of pearpc as a way of transforming my extra 2 GHz/512 MB ram dell system that i never use into a pseudo-mac... by using a small custom linux distro. i believe that with sound, a pearPC linux OS would be much more worthwhile. yes... i know it's ...

It would be even nicer if you could provide some conduit for direct access to the video card through OS X. OS X has built-in drivers for most ATI and Nvidia cards, so it would simply be a matter of translation. exactly my point... i think PearPC would run at least 30% faster if the visuals in OS X ...

video.x-- isn't this just a generic software driver? what would be good is if there was a bunch of specially written drivers for pear pc, (for ATI's radeon line, nvidia's geforce 4/fx, etc)... this way, pearpc wouldn't have to worry so much about redrawing and focus more on other things... it would ...

here is my wish-list :) -Speed (they're working on it) -Network Support (they're working on it) -Graphics card direct support -Fullscreen support (without the patched executable) -Physical CD support -But most of all, I want PearPC to be built on top of Linux, as an OS. That would knock my socks off...
