Ran my existing PearPC image with this... It worked ok but when I tried to activate networking it crashed a lot.

I quickly uninstalled it again ;)

I can confirm this. This seems to be the case when trying to convert harddisk images instead of CD/DVD images.

To be honest I don't know if OSX is Posix compliant or not.

Anyone?

Windows NT/2000/XP supports POSIX, That means it is UNIX... 8)

MS Virtual PC 7.0 for Mac

While not exactly on-topic, I wanted to post this. VPC 7 became goldmaster status a few weeks ago and should be in the shops in October. Much has been written about its features, especially native graphics card support. It seems now, that VPC 7 lacks these interesting technologies and is nothing but...

The non-SDL version works well, btw. But I still remember the very early (hacked) SDL builds that ran soooo smooth! They had loads of bugs, OK, but none of the later versions ran as good on my system.

I don't really understand why?! I mean technically.

I'm with Yukon Kid. The network thing would be a temporary hack. A dedicated soundcard emulation is needed earlier or later to be on the safe side. BTW, someone seems to work on a Mac onboard sound emulation. This is what I found on the devel list, posted by canadacow: I"ve been working on the ...

Official 0.3.1 SDL build for Win32: Jittery mouse

I think it is a good thing that the win32 binary is now SDL ready out of the box . Also, overall execution speed seems to be the best of all PearPC builds I ever used. BUT... Why the heck are the mouse movements updated so jittery?? Once it moves almost smooth, than it lags ... than it jitters. All ...

I don't think this is the wrong forum. Unfortunately I'm no Apple Script wizard but I'm almost sure that this is a rather easy task...

The only thing I could do is to scour a few help files/tutorials etc.

So it is cool. I've been following mac emulation too (actually i found pearpc by accident), but if i could afford a mac i would buy it and say goodbye to emulation (it's so slow). I use PearPC because I find the underlying technique interesting. I love to fiddle around with and to learn something a...
