Re: Using JITC on AMD64?

I'm using Gentoo's amd64 port currently. I'm trying to compile CVS with JITC support. Running ./configure by default configures the generic cpu. Using the -m32 cflag causes ./configure to be unable to complete. Anyone get JITC on AMD64? No. You have to configure, compile and install PearPC with the...

I can say to my PPC use them, MACOSX is showing them but i can't use/install any device (e.g. an USB Stick).
The "USB device" in the configuration file is only a fake, needed to install Mac OS X 10.3. PearPC doesn't support USB.

If they don't show us the source and we know for a fact that it's pearpc I hope slashdot readers rape them for all their worth...something like that anyway.

Re: what is a good linux distro to use sheepshaver with?

is there one that would require little configuration to get sheepshaver compiled? i just tried with a mandrake 9.1 i had lying around and gave up after an hour of trying to fill dependencies. i think a linux distro specifically designed for running sheepshaver would be great, but i doubt that exist...

I would definitly buy the Celeron (or preferly an AMD 8) ) because i like using Linux so much, i would never want to use any other OS than GNOME + Linux.
