Re: Compiling Basilisk in XCode

This is interesting.. I mean.. if Basilisk and SS share lot of code, wouldn't that be possible to join both into a single, more powerful emulator? Just wondering...

Compiling Basilisk in XCode

Is that possible?
My XCode is 3.2.3. No idea how this is working, though. I got thousands of errors, obviously I did something wrong.

Re: Preferences file

Mmmmm.... I am going to check the source then.

Are the preferences for Basilisk and Sheepshaver strictly the same?

Re: Preferences file

I've been checking all data I need, and I am looking for a complete document with all the preferences fields. I found this one: http://www.sourcefiles.org/Emulators/Apple/BasiliskII_src_31052001.tar.gz.shtml But I guess there are some missing information. Do you know any other source for these detai...

Re: OpenEmulator

Which kind of help, precisely?
I was thinking about engaging in an emulator project, but something simple for starters.
I know C/C++/Obj-C and I guess I am good at design until some point, but never tried anything "low-level" as an emulator before.

Re: Preferences file

Hi, Please take a look at the sheepvm functionality. Is that something worth copying for BasiliskII? http://www.emaculation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=5754&hilit=sheepvm You might contact our user Myrd about it. Best, Cat_7 Oh, I think I remember this..... I'll check that before venturi...

Re: Preferences file

I guess so! It would be possible to have more than one system available, in my opinion! But again.. it would require integration with the emulator. I don't know.. it seems that if I can use a database, there is no reason to use a text file! Also.. what do you guys think about saving states in Basili...

Preferences file

Hi there folks, It has been a long time since my last post, though I always take a look in the forums. I was thinking that Basilisk II has a very poor user interface in Mac OS X when it comes to configuration and I am working on a version of mine to edit the preferences file. But then it came to my ...

So, I see executor is available here:

https://github.com/ctm/executor

It is not, it seems, a true emulator, but it could handle some softwares...
Do you guys ever worked with executor's code? Is it too complex? I am thinking about making some tests, but my knowledge in C is limited to MUD games.

Hi Cat_7! Yes, you are quite correct. This is what I mean. I really don't know how does cider/wine really works, but I think that perhaps windows is a little bit more easy to be virtualized even because there is no difference between processors today. But basilisk and sheepshaver are out there and t...

Classic Wrapper

Hi there folks! This is my first post, though I've been reading this forum for some years by now. I am a happy Mac user, today I am on Snow Leopard. But I always felt a little bit bothered to be forced to use Windows to play some games. I've been using Bootcamp for a time, but since I discovered the...
