So, does this thing actually require a Linux install at any point? If so, my head is going to explode. I've already spent countless hours fumbling around with Mandrake to try SheepShaver. (After that experience, Linux is long gone from my computer)

I am personally tired of putting money into sheepshaver and getting these half ass fixes.

That forum is closed. I would love a BeOS version.

I installed Mandrake for the purpose of running SheepShaver. After several hours of using a terminal and installing developer packages, I was still unable to do much of anything, including changing my monitor refresh rate.

BeOS now resides in Mandrake's place.

I also have an 8.6 CD. (It's actually a service source CD). Mandrake will not read the CD. Do I have to run basilisk, save the ROM to a 'fake' mac drive, then point the SheepShaver GUI to the 'fake' mac drive where the ROM would now be? Also, I can't seem to 'browse' to the ROM in the SheepShaver GU...

After 8 hours, I finally have Mandrake 9.1 installed. I installed it for the sole purpose of running SheepShaver. When I type "make links" into the terminal, I get the following errors: (There are many, but they all say the same thing) ln: When making multiple links, last argument must be ...

Whenever this topic comes up, people always say "Apple isn't stupid enough to do this. They make their money by selling HARDWARE!!!". Yes, and when they start selling an x86 OS, they will make their money by selling SOFTWARE. I don't understand the argument. If a magical genie/wizard/gay u...
