Re: Connect QEMU OS9.2.2 to Host Devices?
Hi, What you would be looking for is usb pass-through into your guest. -device usb-audio only presents an usb audio device to the guest, and that is not what you want. Every usb device has a unique combination of vendor id and device id. You need to find those id values for your usb midi device. You...

Hi, I don't understand why the default network card would not work? It works perfectly over here with Puma 10.1.3 You do have the networking settings in Puma set to DHCP? The realtek device does not seem to work even after installing the driver. Your qemu.bat points to MacOS9.2.img. I assume that is...

Re: Set IP address manually?
Hi, If you can't get this to work, there is also the option to run Mac OS 9 with Qemu. That way you can use port forwarding from inside Mac OS to your host. This allows Appletalk over TCP/IP networking. The file server would not show up when you select Appletalk in the Chooser, but you can connect t...

Re: Set IP address manually?
Hi, That issue is not easily solved with SheepShaver on your host. First of all, slirp networking provides a private DHCP server and NAT network address translation. That is the reason for the 10.0.2.x ip-addresses. Slirp does not allow ping to pass through the network. That would not have to be a p...

Re: Tips for a more stable Basilisk
Are there any tips or ideas one can do to make Basilisk less prone to Freezing up? My Basilisk freezes up occasionally, is that what crashing is because I thought crashing was when the program ceases? I emulate a system 7.6.1 but I also have 7.5.5 and I use a quadra650 rom. Re: Flashback floppy version installation ?!
The file lost some of its attributes when still on the Windows drive. You probably unstuffed it there.
Copy the flashback.sit to your Mac OS 8 disk as it is, and then use unstuff inside Basilisk to get a correct copy of the downloaded file.

Hi,
You can see all the parameters when you run the BasiliskGUI, configure Basilisk correctly, and afterwards open the prefs file.
I have no knowledge about RetroPie, but if you want start something up after Mac OS has started, then put an alias in the start-up items folder.

The current versions of Basilisk/Sheepshaver for Windows can read/boot Mac CDs. That has been fixed some weeks ago. But I'm not sure about which types can be read. Hi,
Yes, that is a nasty error for which we do not have a clear solution.
There is no guarantee, but you might want to try setting:
ignoreillegal true
jit false
Disabling the jit will make things go slower, but it might solve your issue.

Hi,
Is the slirp networking option not working or sufficient for you?
If you downloaded the sheep_net.ko file from our forum, then please be advised it is very old and not compiled on Mint.
Perhaps you should compile your own if you need it.
