It was my understanding that since Apple didn't put any copy protection system in place, they didn't mind such sharing. That was how I got Panther, after all. :?

I bought Tiger!

$109 on sale at Fry's Electronics this past Friday  Ok, so I know to some of you it may seem quite odd that I don't own a single Mac, and I bought Tiger. But I'm sharing it with some friends of mine who own Macs, so it's all good. Anyways, I've ripped the DVD as a .ISO and I have it on my H...

Yes, HW acceleration would be the best thing ever. In fact, I'd rather have that before sound, to tell you the truth.

Indeed. I'll have to see if I can get a copy from a friend to try it out once it ships. :)

Now that Tiger is out...

I'm sure a lot of people will be buying Tiger and trying it with PearPC. I'd be curious to see how well it runs (if at all). Who here has preordered it? 8)

I'm using Bridging as well. I used to use ICS until we got a router with a 192.168.0.1 IP which I can't change and ICS no longer functions. I'm still trying to determine if this is a Windows issue or a PearPC issue. I wonder if someone more experienced could take a look through the PPC code and see ...

So for some reason on our two systems PearPC is not able to maintain a network data transfer for longer than the amount of time needed to transfer anything but a very small file. I still don't understand how web browsing works, then...

No idea how to solve your problem, but this got me thinking...

One of the great things to do with a Mac is a multimonitor setup. For the few PC users who use dual monitors, it would be awesome if someone could write a plugin to make PearPC handle dual monitors.

For the OS X DNS Server entry, I would recommend putting 213.17.92.1 (the address of your Gateway, which I'm assuming is your router) or either of the two DNS Server IPs from the HW Network Status list.

Internet Works, Windows File Sharing crashes upon transfer

Hey, I'm using the latest PearPC 0.4pre build with an emulated OSX 10.3.8 Mac. I've gotten Windows File Sharing to work both ways (Mac->PC and PC->Mac) under past versions. It took me some time to get networking going again after installing 10.3.8, but I got it. I've bridged my LAN and TAP connectio...

Ok I'm bit behind the curve on the native CD-ROM support thing. What additional files do I need to make it work and how should I set my config file? Otherwise, I do notice a slight speed improvement in this build. SysPrefs loads faster than ever, but even with a redraw rate of 10 the interface is st...

I hope the PearPC folks get a good legal team together and make some serious cash off this thief. Then they can quit their day jobs and focus 100% on making PearPC the best it can possibly be.

I too am having this problem. Is there any way to change the IP that ICS uses by default? I can't change the IP address of my router either.

Thanks guys. :)
