Cherry OS - The Evidence!
I'd advise everyone to check out this webpage. The blogger totally rips apart Cherry OS leaning on a number of sources and there's proof that it's not JUST PearPC he's ripped off....

Will you still love it if you have to pay this idiot $50 for a PearPC frontend? It's a complete joke. He promised 80% speed, then started saying things like '80% speed could mean 80% of anything, not just the processor, it could be the disk access or the bus'. I other words he is a liar. None of the...

Ahh, I remember the launch of Channel 5, just before I moved to the US. It was launched by the Spice Girls, so I knew it was going to be the BIGGEST pile of dog shit TV already Yep, I remember it well. It was quite comical, and still is. They have lit up British households with such amazing TV such...

Resumes wanted! Intern for Darek! Attention geeks! Now that I'm almost done giving away free packages of Mac OS and have enough space in my garage again to house a starving student, I need some extra manpower to help out on an emulation project I'm working on. Seriously, do you think you have what ...

Adding Windows 2000 to an XP system to dual boot.
Here is my problem... I need to access Windows 2000 on the same machine as I am using Windows XP on. Windows XP is installed on the first partition of the disk on the primary IDE channel, and I have a second Hard Disk as master on the secondary IDE channel. I realise that it is recommended to instal...

not sure what you are asking. files are files, they can be moved and placed on storage media regardless of the programs required to use them. yes you can move the img file to a mac, and then to another computer, but can you use them in the mac? In some instances you can't use an .img from a PC driv...

I had the same problem a while back when I had improperly burned an OS 8.1 CD image. I resolved it by making it bootbale within Toast in Mac OS and it booted fine. I'd probably try burning the image and use a physical CD. You can burn HFS CDs in Nero in Windows very well, or probably best to burn th...

From what I can gather, it seems that on Windows, SheepShaver is only useable with OS 8.5>9.0.4. I would assume it would be some issue to do with supported ROMs since only new world ROM is supported in the Windows release...however the iMac was new world and ran OS 8.1....so.....imdonno.... ask Gwen...
