Would it be possible to get some people to go and post there problems and comments at www.pearpc.net.

I think this forum is getting far too many posts at the moments.

I bet something like that would be good...

I'll be a moderator.

I'm an admin at two of my own boards (ask me if you want a link to them), but no one has registered and posted on those and I would like to be a moderator at a site that has some people posting stuff.
So if you want me to become a moderator, then I will be happy to be one.

It says on pearpc.net that it requires about a 2ghz processor and 512mb or RAM for decent performance.

:( Makes me wonder how well it will run on my 500mhz pentiumIII with only 64mb RAM. :?:

I like the sub forum idea, although it would be good if people didn't post that often anyway, i don't have time to read all the posts and this software has only been availible for ONE month, and we already have EIGHT pages of topics. SheepShaver was released in september 2003 i think, and we only ha...

Who thinks there will be an MS-DOS version of PearPC sometime in the futre?

If it ran in MS-DOS and only MS-DOS (no MSWindows) would it be alot faster?

I'd be very surprised if it couldn't, but it probably wouldn't work as well as it does on windows.

Try it and tell us if it works.

So if I got the source code, compiled it on my PentiumIII, it would run better that a version that I download from the PearPC website?

Optimisation for older processors like the Pentium three, so people with older computers who don't want to upgrade can use it at decent speeds.

Make use of 64bit archetecture in processors such as the AMD Athlon64.

and all of the things above.
Oh, and it should remain free!
