Actually, the Mac OS 7.6 copy was on a Disk Tools disk I found online, I just copied it to an HDF and upgraded it to OS 7.6.1. Could that be the problem?

This happens because Basilisk II is creating the PRAM file. Wait about a minute or so, then the Mac OS will start booting.

I installed Mac OS 8.5 in SS, (it works ) but it runs very slow (sometimes locks up). I've heard SheepShaver was unstable, but I didn't think it was this unstable. Anyways, I'll post some screeenshots when (or if? ) I can.

For some reason, SheepShaver won't boot from the Mac OS 8 CD. It would go to the "Welcome to Mac OS" screen, then quit. How do I fix this? I am using the Windows version of SheepShaver, with the GUI.
