In contrast, Japanese is way easier. My only gripe is when you are forced to use kanji (chinese characters) instead of the simpler hiragana/katakana. Of course, knowing me, I prefer romaji (japanese words written in the english alphabet). I took one class of japanese in college and aced it. Never bo...

Sure I remember the BeOS... and using the Be Kaleidoscope2 scheme for the longest time. I've always wanted to run said OS on my 6100, but never knew if they were compatible with each other and I lacked the interest to head down that avenue.

If you haven't already done so, you should also downgrade your installation of Quicktime from 6.x to 4.x. To do that, you'd need to manually remove -everything- that the 6.x installer installed, including its preferences in the preferences folder, its extensions (inits), and control panel (cdev).

Alternatively, couldn't you also designate the DATA disk as...

You know, after visiting Tycho's sites, listed at the end of page 1 of this topic, there seems to be no recent progress nor any updated blog entries... like... none at all. I so thoroughly hate Flash, it's almost a religion for me. The worst...... absolutely worst part is when corporate websites use so much Flash that to even get to the part on their site to ask for help, you need Flash to navigate through their menus!!! Is it too much to ask web site people to just ha...

Before you begin, make sure you have installed " Stuffit Expander " properly installed on your emulated Mac. There are 3 things that i can think of: 1) The program you want to use (Mac Diff 4.2.6) is not properly installed yet and resides on your hard drive as a compressed archive file (ei...

We already chat on the forum. :| And if it's just for the sake of getting Stephen Coates' attention, I'm reasonably certain that he reserves that channel of communication for stuff that's more important and more immediate than something like Sheepshaver or Mac emulation.

Your best bet would be a maxed-out iMac G3 600 or 700, or one of the early G4's... anything that is dual-bootable with OS 9.x & OS X. They can be had for practically "dirt-cheap" on eBay.

You might give HFVExplorer or MacDrive a go... Another tool that I haven't tried, but might work for you could be HFSExplorer.
