Rename the ROM file to have no spaces. SheepShaver won't boot off that image set as a hard drive file. Instead, add the following lines to your prefs file and boot off your Mac OS 8.5 retail CD: cdrom E: nocdrom false (where E: is your CD-ROM drive of course.) Unfortunately, I don't have a Mac OS C...

But what you can do, if you have already set up Basilisk II with a working 68K Mac ROM is use TomeView to get at the ROM: TomeView is here: http://www.maconlinux.org/download.html Sorry for digging up this old topic, but the link to download TomeView is broken on that site. Where else ca...

You could try to use the "Microsoft Loopback Adapter", which creates a virtual ethernet card (use the "add new hardware" wizard to install it), and with that you could use something like WinGate to route AppleTalkIP packets between it and the serial port adapter. Thanks, I will ...

Which software do I download? EDIT: I downloaded a program called IPRemote. In the AppleTalk control panel, I select IPRemote, I enter the IP Address of the Mac, correct user name and password. It attempts to connect, but then I get a message saying that there's no remote appletalk server running, b...
