this is so frustrating...it says I have an IP and yet it won't work...that way or manually configuring my wireless router ip: 192.168.1.1 my computer ip: 192.168.1.2 dns: same as my wireless router ip what the heck am I doing wrong? I put 192.168.1.1 for dns and 192.168.0.200 for the ip...192.168.0....

EDIT: Fixed my problems. If you are on a wireless connection, you have to enable ICS from your wireless connection TO your openvpn connection. I am currently in the process of configuring ip's so I"ll keep you guys in tune. If you are on wireless, do NOT go from your normal wired lan connection...

captain, does the mac address in your config end with 34 or 35?

I noticed this in my config: #pci_3c90x_installed = 1 #pci_3c90x_mac = "de:ad:ca:fe:12:34" pci_rtl8139_installed = 1 pci_rtl8139_mac = "de:ad:ca:fe:12:35" johns site says to set the mac address to 34, though that is the mac address of the other card...which is the correct version...

Ancient Imhotep, my network is in the 192.168.x.x range, but it should be fairly simple to adapt the guide for the 10.x.x.x range. My best idea would be to set the TAP32 IP address to 10.0.254.1 / 255.255.255.0 (I'm betting it's unused), and then configure the IP inside of OS X for 10.0.254.200 / 2...

window blinds is one thing. I kept getting that when I ran with a gig of memory allocated to pearpc. I reduced to 512 and it started installing just fine granted this was about 4 days ago so things have changed significantly in ppc since then, you may be able to install with a gig of ram...not sure....

works for me...going back from fullscreen makes all my windows go in funky places. I'm runnin 16*12 @ 75 hz, so 1024*768 blown up doesn't look that pretty...but it works. so not too bad
