About the hashing out of values: if you unhashed one memory size entry somewhere in your config file, and the is a...

Hello, If your kernel wouldn't have support for tap/tun build in, then you would have to enable the functions named in the part you didn't understand and rebuild your kernel. But no worries, if you've got /dev/net/tun your OK. Most recent kernels have support for tun. The error you got has to do wit...

1. You should read the man pages for the patch command
2. You can read about patching SheepShaver code here: http://www.open.ou.nl/hsp/Engels/SheepS ... ching.html
and apply this to patching pearpc.

Bram, There is no real automated installation procedure, and certainly not for Tiger. For now Tiger needs to be installed using a running Panther installation. About the esound audio feature: it doesn't run well and it only runs in 10.2 and 10.3. It runs by letting OSX think the NetworkAudioDevice i...

On linux, many people build their own pearpc executables. This is also possible using a linux-like environment on Windows, named Cygwin. If you don't want the hassle, just stay with pre-build executables. Some sources are: http://www.prasys.net.tc/ http://richardgoodwin.com/wp/cvsbuilds.php http://p...

The tiger iso is not bootable, at least it wasn't till 2 days ago. There is a tutorial on how to install Tiger in the forum, search for it. You could also build pearpc yourself. I believe the dvd issue has been resolved in the latest source. If you can't do that, look for a new build with the dvd pa...

Update
Hi,
After the 05-21-2005 CVS update, networking with slirp has become more stable, but still very slow compared to the tap/tun solution.
