could somebody help me ? i have the binary file of pearpc.net and i have copied the files in to my pearpc diretory , but when i typ in cmd32 : typ : "ppc-sdl ppccfg.example" nothing happening what do i need to do ? Check your "stdout.txt" file and post everything in it here. :)

Nope, not possible, :( unless you have an ISO. But i think the devs are working on it.

well...i'm not impressed mainly because i'm not lucky enough to have a new computer instead i'm stuck with a 4 year old laptop that doesn't support hardware acceleration...hence this build does nothing for me oh well...hopefully the speeding up cpu emaulation will be the main focus...that way i can...

because if you let this parameter on 1,it will always boot on the setup cdrom,and not on the virtualdrive.
That is not needed if prom_bootmethod is "select". :)

now i ripped the CDs into iso format using Nero.
say i'd want to burn them again (whatever reason ) in which format would i have to do that? that special apple HFS thing?
Just do a "File > Burn from Image". The format is auto-detected.

That means it is something wrong with your OS X ISO file. Try ripping it again. Also i recommend OS X 10.1 VERY MUCH!

thanks so far! one question left: should i run from windows or debian? where does it perform better? thanks! I haven't used PearPC yet, but I have read somewhere that it runs best in windows, but you will have to try it on both to find out which is the best for you. That varies very much - on Windo...
