You tried installing Quicktime 4 , but it didn't work . Which didn't work? It didn't solve the problem , or the installation failed? You might also want to check the preferences if the Background Music dial is set to zero . In that case , even if you enable it , it would only be zero . Also , check ...

Did you list down the disk image in SheepShaver (in the GUI)? Also , if you haven't , format that disk image when it appears in SheepShaver . The matter I'm thinking of is that you did not add the disk image in the GUI , forcing you to boot from CD . Even if you did add the disk image , you should i...

As Cat_7 said , most items would not automatically be assigned to the file type . Open the application , and use the Open File dialog from there .

For StuffIt , I use the Magic Menu , where you select a file , ALT-U and there it goes .

I have the same problem . In my opinion , it should be a software problem or an emulation problem . There should be nothing wrong with your configuration . I'm afraid I have accepted that we have to play Prince Of Persia with such sound . Or , if you wish , you can try 24bit's recommendation .

There's one I'm using now in 6.0.8 in Mini vMac . EscapeDammit! lets you use the ESC in some dialogs to represent 'Cancel' .

I can't understand your grammar .

Also , I don't think you're supposed to put it into Windows\SysWOW64 . Isn't there also a System32 in Windows 7?
And please don't put files into a portfolio . Put the cdenable.sys directly into the folder .

I think it's something to do with your system . Try emulating Windows in an emulator (yes , Windows in Windows) and install SheepShaver in that . Also , try creating a disk image , mount it , rename it "MacUltimate" and put all the corrupted files there (and system files if necessary) . Th...

What Ronald says is true . Almost all the time , even if you have the program , it won't simply associate the extension . You should open the application and open the file from there (if it's not in the file list , it's not compatible) . But if you installed your System 7.5.5 completely with all fea...

As far as I can see , you've just put the ROM in the folder and done nothing . Also , you do not need the GUI to run SheepShaver . Edit the preferences file with a text editor , adjust the settings and type in the ROM path in the preferences . You should then be able to run the SheepShaver applicati...

Try Mini vMac . Mini vMac has alot of speed controls , even down to 1 MhZ . Basilisk II's speeds are meant for the newer color Macintoshes , such as the Quadras . Those newer computers never had slow speeds such as the Plus .

But as far as I can remember , it supports the 32-bit IIci ROM . All other Macintosh IIs won't work . But Cat_7 is right , you should get a Quadra or Performa ROM instead . Most people go with Quadra 650 , as it has like a 100% success rate .
