Anyone has encountered an issue were Power Pete is running way too fast on SheepShaver?
Tried lowering memory and disabling some of the options with no luck.
Other games like Full Tilt! don't have this issue.
If anyone has encountered this issue and found a solution I will very much appreciate it.

Thats a known issue with many old games.
PowerPete is hosted here since ten years: http://macintoshgarden.org/games/power- ... ighty-mike
You may want to try Basilisk II, which is a lot slower.
Qemu may be an option, MiniVMac not so, as its dedicated to 24bit addressing mainly.
PowerPete wants 32bit addressing.

On OSX hosts, Qemu has an option to slow the emulation down.
Use an experimental sound-enabled build to run the game in Mac OS 9.x

Re: SheepShaver: Power Pete runs fast!!
I went off and tried Power Pete but Mighty Mike runs great on SheepShaver!
After reading the info that it cost $15 I was like alright, but when clicking registering it said that they diceded to give it out for free!!!

Don't know what the difference is here (probably re-written to support a newer version of OpenGL or something) but it runs awesome!
Thanks everyone!

Re: SheepShaver: Power Pete runs fast!!
The difference is that they got a C&D letter from the makers of the Powerful Pete keychain accessory, and instead of fighting it out in court (they would have won, as the two products aren't in the same market, and the name and branding is different), they just changed the name and updated the software to work on newer systems.
Re: SheepShaver: Power Pete runs fast!!
Also, regarding the name change, Mighty Mike was actually the title during development -- MacPlay changed it before release and Brian Greenstone never much liked their decision to go with Power Pete, so he was more than happy to change it on the shareware version when the opportunity presented itself.
He talked about it in a YouTube video several years ago: https://youtu.be/Wk_G7Qvj1Sk?t=481
(And I covered the origin story for the game in my Mac gaming history book.)
