Hi,
With this patch, you will have (VERY EXPERIMENTAL and ONLY PRELIMINARY) support
for a REAL PCI cards from the QEMU guest OS.
This patch is for Linux OS as a host, and the kernel needs to be patched.

OSX doesn't boot yet it qemu but fingers crossed it's only a matter of time.

This means that yes one day you probably will be able to use PPC PCI upgarde cards. Not sure how useful it will be if qemu ever boots os9 it might be useful. (Can OS9 use the upgrade cards? My undersanding is the host processor still handles everything OS wise and the PPC upgrade card is used for user mode code, a bit like the emulatorsin softpear or qemu in usermode.)Marc wrote:Does this mean we can use REAL PowerPC upgrade cards in our x86 and access them with QEMU?
