Well, the emulator is working now, but I think I might need a little more help. I'll send you a PM in that regard.

However, as far as at least getting things to *start* working are concerned, I'm off to a good start. Thank you very much, as your assistance has been invaluable.

I do hope my message got through to you, Cat. Otherwise, I'm encountering the afore-noted "The System Software on this disk is designed for starting up from a floppy disk only. Please re-install the System Software from the disks or CD that came with your computer."

I'm thinking that a potential problem causing this is the way by which I needed to get the 7.5.3 installer onto the drive. I created the drive in a manner such that it would be visible and portable within the Program Files, but HFVExplorer could not open the .hfv volume I had created. To circumvent this, I extracted the compressed self-extracting archives and used the mounted C drive to find the .sea files and bring them into my emulated HD. In theory, I should be ready to get this thing running, but I just can't do it yet for reasons which are beyond me. Clicking on the initial installer file only brings up an error dialogue box.

I'll attach a few articles which should hopefully shed some more light on the issue...
