T22 the "Macintosh"

Post by kikyoulinux »

I got an old IBM ThinkPad T22 laptop with Pentium III 900 that was able to use sound card on DOS...
So I got FUSION run on that machine. To my surprise, it runs pretty fast.

Thanks for sharing your pictures!
I always liked the way FusionPC does handle the MacOS.
Compatible hardware is becoming somewhat rare meanwhile.

Yes, I like that too. Also, I heard that some Mac apps and games can only been emulated correctly under FUSHION or SoftMac.
As most of modern PCs are still capable of running DOS (under BIOS compatible mode on some EFI machines), it just needs a DOS-compatible sound card(even some PCI cards) like SoundBlaster 128 or ESS1938, which has a driver to emulate Sound Blaster under DOS.

FUSION works nicely under DOSBox too, which opens it up to pretty much all modern x86-based computers.
