SmartKeys was a control panel for auto-correcting text and other features, by Maurice Volaski that was one of the utilities he distributed from his Flux Software site:

http://www.fluxsoft.com

SmartKeys 4 was the final version, never released to the public. The author has sent me a copy of it, and says it may be distributed freely. I've posted it in the WordPerfectMac user group, and here's a link. You'll need to register for a groups.io login account. If anyone has another place to post it, please feel free to do so. Here's the groups.io link:

This would be a great addition to the Macintosh Garden and also the archive.org Mac Software section.

Non sequitur, but I just want to point out that it is awesome that Maurice Volaski has been paying to keep his domain registered and his site online, even though the site hasn't changed in 17 years. In a world of broken links, that's pretty cool.

Also, I want to promise everyone that THIS site will still be online in 2035.

Eventually phpBB3 is going to be so ancient that nobody's going to be attacking it anymore! Security through obscurity! Yaay! :D

Seriously; it'd be neat to have a collection of web sites that still support pure HTTP and SSL for old Macs, although modern web browsers will likely stop supporting the sites pretty soon.

DID YOU KNOW: This forum launched about a month after phpBB 2 was released. We hung on to that version as long as possible.
