Mac OS 9 can't find disk

Hi. I'm new to everything and a bit confused as I followed a tutorial exactly, yet can't get sheepshaver to work.
I noticed two things, one, when I input "F:\" as a CDROM Drive, as instructed in the tutorial, sheepshaver wouldn't even start. So I removed it.
However, when I remove it, I got the flicking no disk icon. Here is a snapshot of my GUI.
Any help is much appreciated.
