Sheepshaver OS preference

Post by bobrpggamer »

Is it better to run sheepshaver in Linux as far as compatibility (not necessarily performance). I seem to have a lot of crashes with sheepshaver in my windows 10 64 bit OS with an i7 9700K with 32 GB ram.

I have VMware workstation 15 and I could install Linux in if it would help, of course performance might suffer a bit being a VM but if it would be more stable I could do so.

I'm not sure what you mean exactly, but if you're thinking there's a compatibility problem with the specific Mac software you're trying to use, and you can manage running SheepShaver on Linux in a VM, you should give it a go, even just to figure out if the issue is specific to one platform.
