MacSoup

My Sheepshaver installations are in general working fine. But I tried (in several ways) to install MacSoup and keep getting problems.

For instance, I have a MacSoup.iso item. On my Mac running Catalina, this opens fine and reveals the program MacSoup as a universal 32-bit application (which, of course, can't be run on Catalina). I can include this as one of the disks that Sheepshaver looks at. It appears ok, and I can open it. But MacSoup.app shows up as a folder, not an application. All the other ways I have to tried to get it into my OS 9 Sheepshave either fail or give the same result.

So how can I get it recognised as an application.

By the way, does Sheepshaver currently run under Big Sur, or will it soon do so?

Probably an application package, a Mac OS X application, not a Classic Mac application. A 'universal' application from that era could run in Mac OS X on both PPC and Intel.

I'm sure you're right about it not being aClassic Mac app. I was evidently confused about what "universal" meant.
