Dear fellow enthousiasts,
Since a couple of days I cannot open Sheepshaver anymore. I think I accidentally turned fullscreen on while playing Simcity 2000. Forgot to turn this off.
I searched for solutions but I cannot seem to find it. I’m working on a Macbook Pro 2018 with Big Sur installed.
Second I want to say I appreciate this forum and Sheepshaver in general. I’m a frequent user, mostly games from my childhood. It’s amazing.
I cannot seem to get every game to work. With the mounting etc, but I am planning to buy an iMac G4 800mhz for that.
Thanks guys in advance.

Re: Sheepshaver crash booting fullscreen
You turned fullscreen on while playing Simcity 2000? Does that mean that you used control-return to switch from window mode to fullscreen mode? That should not change the setting to startup SheepShaver in window mode, so I see no connection with problems at startup.
If you changed settings to start up SheepShaver in fullscreen mode, that by itself should also not crash SheepShaver.
1. Which SheepShaver build (build date!) do you use? Did that same build work before?
2. Post here the content of your prefs file:
Launch Terminal (in /Application/Utilities/) and type at the prompt followed by a return.
The file will open in your default text editor. Select all content and copy and paste it here in your reply.

Thanks for the reply. I will keep you updated tomorrow.
I think the problem lies in the preferences.

Re: Sheepshaver crash booting fullscreen
If you happen to use the 31 January 2021 build: It freezes when launched full screen. Replace it with a more recent build.
