Is it possible to have comment lines in Sheepshaver and Basilisk prefs files?
Thanks.
Edit. It seems to ignore lines it does not understand, so maybe that is how to comment.

Re: Comment lines in prefs file
There is no such thing as comment lines in the prefs file. But yes, indeed, if the line starts with something that is not expected, that line will be ignored.
However, BII/SS may again write a line that it expects and does not find. That line will then be with the default setting.
Any special line you want to be ignored? Why?

Re: Comment lines in prefs file
Thank you for the reply.
I am just testing my Basilisk and Sheepshaver frontends and, to try to future-proof in a small way I am allowing 10 enter-it-yourself parameters. The concept has helped with the Qemu frontend which requires changes as time passes. There is no need for them at this time, but I wanted to test that the test lines got correctly written to the prefs file without causing havoc in the emulator.
So, nothing serious. Thanks again.
