SheepShaver on KDE doesn't work (works in Gnome)

Post by Guest »

Whenever I try to run SheepShaver in KDE (using the rpms on SuSE 9.1 Pro),
the config screen appears, but when I try to start SheepShaver, the floppy drive will make a noise and then I see a black window appear and disappear.
However, in Gnome, using the same SheepShaver settings I can boot Mac OS 8.6 fine. How can I get SheepShaver to work in KDE (since I like that better than Gnome?

A weird fix

I found a fix for this problem, but it is weird.
I put a file in my home dir called .no-qtrc-to-gtkrc-mapping
What this does in SuSE is turn off the mapping of QT settings to GTK applications (so they have a common look and feel). However, the SheepShaver GUI not looks ugly. Does anybody have another solution?
