SheepShaver Windows Prefs

Post by Mac Emu »

I've been getting many NO_MORE_IRP_STACK_LOCATIONS faults when starting SheepShaver which gives me a Blue Screen and a system hault. I have to shut off my PC and boot into XP safe mode before restarting into normal mode otherwise the NO_MORE_IRP_STACK_LOCATIONS error occurs again before I get to the Windows desktop. This has been occuring since yesterday.

This didn't occur a half hour ago when I tried booting up with no CD-ROM in the drive (though it might have been a fluke).

I'll run DiskTools on the empty HDF that I'd like to install a Mac OS onto in case it is damaged and causing the problem.

Could people who have SheepShaver up and running with an OS please post your SheepShaver_prefs file and let me know what OS you are running? Thanks a whole bunch!

Thanks Cat_7. Somehow I fixed things. I think it was a combo of looking your prefs over, moving the basic files needed into a new directory, booting with extensions off, using the new SheepShaver binary and the libsdl.org sdl.dll.
