SheepShaver Stability

Running OS8.6 on P4 (3.2Ghz), Win XP. Using 1.6MB Mac ROM from Apple update.

Mine crashes quite regularly regardless of extensions that have been turned on/off.

Keyboard typing or opening key caps causes crashes almost every time.

Comments from others re stability appreciated .... Cheers

(but hey - I've now got sound working in OS8.6 ....)

I got OS 8.6 , best way , use CVS to fetch , the newer build from CVS Supports new room and seems to stop crashing some time , or best way is run in Linux...:D

Gwenole recently said that building SheepShaver for Windows via the CVS source is broken. I get (and I've seen others report) the following when trying to make SheepShaver from CVS:

Do you have a new Windows binary built, or were you refering to changes seen in the Linux port?

I was taking about the Linux Build port , I tried cvsing on Windows , I get some errors , too , I thought , I need to get some more libaries to fetch from CVS , mind , I do not have any new Binary , I am using the oringial sheepsaver compiled binary........
