Make an OS 9.1 cd image bootable.

Post by HEAT84 »

I have an OS 9.1 Optimus cd image but SheepShaver won't boot it for some reason. I can see the files with TransMac (If its any kind of a clue though why it doesn't boot, after I open the image it says cannot find any Mac volumes would you like to search the entire disk for a Mac volume. After I do that it sees the files). HFV explorer was not able to see it though (another clue maybe). Is there any way to make it bootable or is ther anyway to install the OS on a HD image without booting the CD :?:

Well then how can I get the image to boot with PPC and OS X to use with the Classic emulatiion utility? Or install the OS some other way so it can work with the OS X Classic emulation utility?

PearPC can't boot the classic Mac OS, nor does Classic work within OS X in PPC, afaik.
