I have built a version of Sheepshaver using the gtk2 frontend that is in the codebase, and this version seems to be more stable and not crash as much as the official Sheepshaver 2.3 build.(I have no clue why, its the same source code. Maybe because I compiled it with gcc 4.x?)
I have built both a RPM and a DEB for this build.

RPM (fedora core 3 +):

DEB (Ubuntu+maybe debian):

These builds were built by me, using gcc version 4.0.2 20050808 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 4.0.1-4ubuntu9). They seem to work extremely fast and crash less compared to the official builds. Also, it uses GTK2, which looks a lot nicer and is easier to use, which also integrates into your desktop enviorment. If you have any problems for questions, just post it on this thread.
