Hi,

I believe the error is in SheepShaver when using ethernet.
The latest build exhibits the same behaviour on my machine, using any kind connection to a network.

There is nothing you can do to get it working right now, except waiting for the developer to come back from vacation...;-)

Best wishes

Does this reflect upon home networks with ethernet routers?

Hi,

I believe all network connections fail with the latest Windows build. I contacted the developer about it, as I had a perfectly good build right before the latest updates in the SheepShaver networking code.

To bad I replaced that build with the official one, and updated the source from CVS

mine works
systems:
windows XP. wireless connection, mac os9.0.4. basilisk internet driver on top of the wireless connection (not the local connection)

yet, you still need to config the mac os 9.0.4 TCP/IP , select connetion to use the manually set up the ip, router, DNS, then key in all those 192.168.0.10(something not colliding with other machines of your network)
192.169.0.1
etc..
