Everything but sound

So I have finally gotten sheepshaver working (via my original OS 8.5 CD) on my windows x86 box and everything works fine, except the sound, which there is none of. In my configuration file, i have made sure that "no sound" is disabled, so in theory, I shoudl have sound. I have also tried running the "sound" application and making sure it wasn't muted and slid the sliders all the way up. Also, when I go to the volume slider at the bottom, the "ghost" slider goes up, but right when I let go, it falls back to the bottom. So, any ideas?

Launch "Sound" control panel (an application really) that in 8.5 is installed in "Apple Extra's" folder. Select "Sound out" (or similar, my MacOS is in Dutch) from the popup menu, and select the "Built in" device icon.
