Pulsating sound in OS9

Pulsating sound in OS9

I got OS9 installed and working great AND the sound is on, but all the sound is pulsating badly and I don't understand why.

Any help?

I'm running it on a MacBook pro.

I seem to be having a similar problem. The sound pulsates and lags, e.g. when I am playing SimTower and SimCity 2000, and also when I am playing MIDI music in ConcertWare.
