Boot SheepShaver using Basilisk II hardfile

Post by hBarcellos »

I'm the one with that problem using Mac OS 8.5 CD.
So, is it possible to boot SheepShaver using my Basilisk II hardfile ? I have OS 8.1 installed.
Which ROM i should use to boot that ?

I can't see any reason why you B2 hard disk shouldn't work with sheepshaver, but if it doesn't work, you will probably need to install OS8 on a ppc machine such as a real mac or sheepshaver.

hope that helps

I did that before I got a copy of OS 8.6. My OS 8.1 hardfile really didn't work to well under SheepShaver though (very unstable).
