Hi,

Is the SheepShaver program called SheepShaver.exe ? If the name has some date attached, make sure to remove that info so only SheepShaver.exe remains.

Best,

Does it run without the GUI? The GUI has dependencies on GTK that can get messy if you've got other software that depends on a more recent version of GTK to be installed.

Someone might post a simple config file for testing.
The boot image pointed to could be this one: http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/macos-753-emulators
or the small OS9 image from Redundant.

I upped something to Mega.nz. Its Cat_7´s files with the above 7.5.3 boot disk added.
Expand the 7zip and place the resulting SheepShaver folder into your main directory C:
That way the paths in the prefs file should match.
The Sheepshaver app should start without issues, opening a 800x600 window.

If you want to use the GUI:
Right click the SS GUI app and look for Compatibility settings, choose "the app was working with older Windows"
and select XP SP3. Run the GUI and save settings.
That way things do work on my side. Feel free to try and let us know.
