Some problem about clipboard transfer some ascii code

Post by jony »

It's wonderful when OS 9 living again on my PC ....Thanks CAT_7 and SheepSlaver developers!
but because I am an Taiwanese use traditional Chinese.
I find clipboard can copy/paste in sheepslaver to windows....but something wrong in MacOS 9
Image

I know some MacOS's ascii code and Windows's are difference after 127.
But copy/paste been changed and only copy text... It is a bad idea!

Traditional Chinese on Mac OS 9 is big5_code ,but windows use Unicode now.
when I copy/paste on sheepslaver's MacOS 9 system some text been tranfered and changed because big5_code(2 bytes include some asciicode >127).

Howto solve this?.....

Thanks ! my English is so poor, hope you can understand what I say.

Hi,

I think your problem has to be solved by a programmer maintaining the SheepShaver code.
Some of them visit this forum, so perhaps one of them will pick it up. But SheepShaver hasn't been actively developed for a long time now. It might not get fixed.

Best wishes,
