I'm running sheepshaver on Windows 7.
I use a HFS+ image (30+ gb) file downloaded from macintosh repository.
I use Sheepshaver almost exclusively for opening and changing MacDraw Pro Files.
This is the problem I'm having :
When I open a macdraw file and make changes and trying to save (not save as) the file then I get this error :
"sorry, there is not enough room on this disk. 1K more bytes are needed".
When doing a "save as" there is no problem. The 30gb image disk i'm using has plenty of free space.
So in short, I can't re-save the file under the same filename, but can save as a new filename without problems.

Re: Save error Sheepshaver - macdraw
Try creating a 2GB disk image; your 30GB image is likely too large and the space free variable has wrapped.
Re: Save error Sheepshaver - macdraw
Thank you. 2GB Disk indeed works fine.
It's just a shame that anything larger doesn't work.

Well, you can still load 30GB images in the Finder, so just keep a 2GB partition for use with older software. I'd also format it HFS instead of HFS+ so that there are no complications due to that (shouldn't be anyway, as the OS APIs leave it up to the toolbox to handle that stuff).
