According to some mac "freaks", OS X's average installation time is a half an hour to an hour (usually closer to an hour) and I installed OS X Panther on my Athlon64 3200+ in 20 minutes
Also I see Richard Goodwin (whose Athlon64 build they used) spruced up his site. Good Work Fella![/code]
This build is great. I don't know if it's a CVS update, something Richard added to his build or just me. Because this build seems so stable, I've decided to *finally* continue trying to integrate Mac OS X into Windows. Basically, it's making a user called Mac OS X, and having that user automatically launch PearPC, and hide the Windows environment. So far so good :D
Once they fix it so you can do an install directly from nativecdrom, think of how easy it would be to install Mac OS X. Is there a way around this now? The grey apple screen comes up for five minutes until the apple changes to a Ø when I try to install OS X from my CD Drive.
Yes, a bit off topic, but I have the same question, I can install OS X from a CD image, but Cannot install it using NATIVE CD, I just get the blocked sign. Anyone have any suggestions?
PS, is this build faster than the last .4 pre builds? I checked the CVS, and see nothing added that would make much difference?

That's what I mean when I say you can't install it directly from the CD.
