I counted 5 frames for minimize, and 6 for maximize. I've tried Richard's latest builds and I think I know what's making them run faster. It's been very fast ever since 10.1 graphic support was added to CVS, so I think that other graphic enhancements also came with that. This is just an educated guess, I don't know this for a fact.

Okay, we have the same hardware. So why are we not getting the same performance!? I downloaded: " Altivec 0.4 branch (experimental)" From his site, is that the one you're reffering to? It doesn't come with "video.x", so I grabbed the one that's in the " Standard + SDL (experimental)", but everything is rendered horribly. Much worse than 0.3.
