Wow, it runs much better than on my computer. You really see it as an animation.

WOW! That sure looks slick.
How did you do it? Is that 0.4Pre SDL really that
more faster that the current 0.3???

I counted 5 frames for minimize, and 6 for maximize. I've tried Richard's latest builds and I think I know what's making them run faster. It's been very fast ever since 10.1 graphic support was added to CVS, so I think that other graphic enhancements also came with that. This is just an educated guess, I don't know this for a fact.

even though it can do that...it's still too slow for me

even on my processor which is comparable to a 3ghz P4

Okay, we have the same hardware. So why are we not getting the same performance!? I downloaded: " Altivec 0.4 branch (experimental)" From his site, is that the one you're reffering to? It doesn't come with "video.x", so I grabbed the one that's in the " Standard + SDL (experimental)", but everything is rendered horribly. Much worse than 0.3. Any ideas? :?

if you really want to make it look like pearpc can get 15 frames on the genie effect, hold shift while minimizing and maximizing, then speed up the video.

Oh... Crap, I'm an idiot. Ignore the question above. (I just ran the SDL version. I thought it was 0.3 for some reason).
