Booting to Tiger install drive - PPC crashes

Post by qwen3579 »

I have been using PPC with Jaguar for awhile now and have been trying to get Tiger installed.
I followed Cat_7's guide step by step, I have the .dmg image restored to my install drive (.img) and it is set as startup disk. It is set as the master in my config file as well, but when I try to boot to it, PPC crashes. I have tried using the Diskutility (it says the drive is fine).
I am using the latest build for 10.4 by Prasys.

---I can boot my Jaguar image fine so I think it has something to do with the Tiger boot image and not PPC itself.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
