[ARCHIVED] About PearPC, a mostly obsolete PPC Mac emulator for Windows and Linux to run MacOS X 10.1 up to 10.4. Using QEMU is now recommended.

I was thinking the same, but then I thought ... how about adjusting PearPC to use the x86 processor instead of an emulated G4 processor, and run Mac OSx86 on it?

Ah, you're right, that's probably too much work and would require doing things Apple would not appreciate (running Mac OSx86 on a non-Macintel).

However a little bird told me that VMware might soon (officially?) support Mac OSx86 as a guest. It's unknown whether they plan on doing this with Apple's blessings.

PearPC won't die.

How will us people with Wintels run Power PC OSX stuff?

It just probably won't be as popular as it was when it was first made.
