Memory Error

Memory Error

I am using Intel P4 processor with intel chipset board with 2GB ram. I want to install Mac OSX 10.4 Tiger on my pc. I have installed PearPC Control Panel. I have also download 6gb disk image of mac. I have prepare a configuration file in PearPC Control Panel. When I run my configuration file First screen appear well. It shows two option :

0. Show all (even unbootable)
1. partition 3 of 'cdrom0' (iATKOS_v1.0/Apple_HFS)

when I press when and enter it shows the following error :

Please tell me where is the errror. I have increased the ram full in config file.

Also, I did a Google search for "iATKOS_v1.0."

I might be wrong, but it looks like that could be a disk image prepared especially for the "hackintosh" technique. That might not be good for PearPC. Try downloading another install disk image.

That iAtkos DVD is meant to install the Mac OS X Intel version on a normal PC. If you want to use the PearPC PowerPC emulator you need a PowerPC version of OSX. The Tiger versions are not the easiest to start with. Find a 10.3 PPC CD version and try with that.

However, if you want to try to run OS X straight on your machine, the safest way to try is to use a spare hard disk.
